From ack! to awesome in less than 10 minutes
A few months ago I got a call from a client of mine. They were stuck. In a big way. And they were freaking out. Totally understandable given what they were facing. Lots of ick.
They needed stuff to shift fast. And there wasn’t time to schedule a session. So I said, “Let me drum for ten minutes and we’ll see what happens.”
I was pretty sure this wouldn’t totally fix their stuck, but I figured it would give them some breathing room.
I hung up the phone, grabbed my drum, drummed away for ten minutes and called them back to check in. They were talking slower, and they definitely sounded less panicky.
Whew. Mission accomplished.
And then I got another call from them later that day.
When I answered and realized who it was, I was worried that the stuck had flared up again. And then they launched into telling me about how, in the course of three hours after I drummed, their stuck shifted.
Totally. And completely. In a matter of hours.
Wow.
I knew that sacred sound was powerful. And that it worked with superhero-like speed. But I was pretty amazed that such a bite-sized nugget of sacred sound served up such a gigantic helping of awesome.
Sound shifts stuff. Fast. Because it works at the energy level. Where stuck starts. And where change happens fast.
